When Your Thoughts Feel Messy and Loud
This letter might give your heart the space it has been needing.
Hey, my friend,
I know it can feel tough when you try to share what is going on in your mind and nothing comes out the way you hope.
You sit there, thinking the words will show up, but they stay hidden.
It can make you feel unsure of yourself, and you may even wonder why it is so hard to speak.
I want you to know that many people go through this, and there is nothing wrong with you for feeling this way.
Your thoughts might feel tangled, and your feelings might change faster than you can explain them, but that does not make you difficult, my friend.
It only shows that you have been trying to hold everything together while still moving through life.
You do not have to force your feelings into neat lines today or find the perfect words.
Just take your time and allow yourself to feel things without knowing how to describe them.
With a little ease and a little patience, your thoughts will settle, and the words will come on their own when you feel steady again.
For now, my friend, can you take one slow breath and just tell yourself that you are doing your best today?
And, it’s okay if you can’t, I’ll do it on your behalf and will keep praying for your physical and mental well-being, my friend.
