The Little Object That Keeps Me Grounded
It cost just 20 rupees, but its value is beyond measure.
Hey, my friend,
There are certain objects in our lives that bring us comfort even though they may look ordinary to everyone else.
It might be a chipped mug that still feels right in your hands, or a faded T-shirt that has been washed so many times it carries the softness of memory.
These things don’t hold much monetary value, yet they carry a quiet sense of reassurance.
The comfort often comes from the stories these objects hold, my friend. An old blanket may bring back childhood evenings when you felt safe.
Just like that, a keychain might remind you of a trip where you laughed until your stomach hurt, and a book with worn pages can recall the very season of life when you first read it.
What looks like clutter to others becomes an anchor of meaning to us.
The reminder here is simple, my friend, and that is sometimes the things that make us feel at ease are the ones nobody else would even notice. They may not be shiny or new, but they hold a part of who we are.
So, look around your space today, and you might find one waiting to bring you a little joy.
In my case, it's a ring 20 INR ($0.23) ring I bought with my first compensation of my life. It reminds me to stay humble, keep going, and be kind.

Let me know what that thing is for you, my friend.
Wishing you all happiness and success, and a great weekend.
That is it for today, and see you Monday.
Take care,
Prasad Mairale
