The Grace You Deserve
Learning to release judgment and allow yourself to be human.
Hey, my friend,
I’m really sorry for sending this later than usual. There were sudden and longer power cuts in my area, and I appreciate your patience.
Now, let’s pick up where we left off yesterday.
As you know, we have spent the past few days noticing how grace can shape the way we carry our days and how we respond to others.
Today, I want to turn that attention inward.
Too often, we treat ourselves as if every moment must be handled perfectly.
We judge our mistakes, criticize our progress, and push ourselves to meet standards that may not even matter.
And, self-grace is about stepping out of that cycle.
It is the willingness to let go of harsh expectations and to allow yourself to be human, fully and without apology.
This does not mean ignoring mistakes or avoiding responsibility.
It means giving yourself space to feel frustration, disappointment, or fatigue without letting those feelings define you.
For example, you might spill coffee on a report, forget a small task, or feel like you are behind on your goals.
When something like that happens, instead of dwelling on self-blame, notice what happened, accept it, and continue without adding unnecessary pressure.
Each time you practice this, you teach yourself that you can move forward even when things are imperfect.
Today, you can try this with one part of your day where you feel tension or pressure.
Step back for a moment, acknowledge what you feel, and remind yourself that your effort matters more than perfection.
Then, see how the day changes when you carry a little less weight in that area of your life.
As you practice giving yourself space and letting go of unnecessary pressure, you may notice that some form of grace in our lives is larger than anything we can create on our own.
Tomorrow, we will explore a form of grace that has inspired people for centuries, a grace that gives strength and hope even in situations beyond our control.
That is it for today, and I’ll see you tomorrow, hopefully at the usual time we meet. 😅
Take care,
Prasad Mairale
