Starting This Week Together

A calm step forward after last week.

Hey, my friend,

Before we start, I want to apologize for missing Friday’s issue.

I ended up in the hospital because I got sick, but I’m recovering now, and it feels good to sit down and talk with you again.

So here we are at the start of a new week.

I know this day can bring all kinds of feelings, especially if last week wasn’t great.

Last week, you might have felt worn out, or things didn’t go the way you hoped, or you just had too much on your mind.

When a week goes like that, those Monday blues can hit much more than usual.

But as you start this new week, I want to remind you that this day is not here to hold last week against you, my friend.

Today, for you can be a soft place to land after a long stretch, and it can also be a starting point for whatever comes next.

You may still carry some of the stress from last week, but you do not have to let it guide your steps now.

So, as you move through this day, try to focus on what is in front of you rather than what has already passed.

You might still feel unsure or slow today, and that is completely fine.

Days like this happen to everyone, and they do not mean you are falling behind.

They only mean you are human, and what matters is that you keep showing up.

You are doing the best you can with what you have, and that is something to respect.

I hope you’ll keep that in mind, my friend.
