Mindful Monday
Don't rush, just start small and show up.
Hey, my friend,
This morning, I sat on the edge of my bed for way too long.
I wasn’t thinking about anything deep, just staring at the floor, feeling kind of blank.
There was stuff I was “supposed” to do, but I didn’t feel like doing any of it.
And for a second, I started being hard on myself. You know that voice:
"Come on, it’s Monday, get up, be productive, and get it together."
But then this tiny thought floated in:
“What if just getting up is enough for today?”
So I got up. I didn’t make a list or open my laptop right away.
I brushed my teeth, sat in the sun for five minutes, prayed to God, and made a cup of tea.
No emails checking or scrolling social media.
And honestly? That felt like a small win.
I guess what I’m trying to say to you is:
If you're starting slow today, it’s okay. If your head feels messy, it’s okay.
If all you do is show up in the smallest way… that’s still something.
You don’t need to launch into the week at full speed. You can ease in. Step by step. Breath by breath.
If you’re reading this, I’m glad you’re here, my friend.
And I hope you’re a little kinder to yourself today than you were last week.
That’s what I’m working on too.
