Done Is Better Than Perfect

In 2020, I thought of starting an Instagram page named Fictional Tales.

As the name suggests, I thought of sharing short fictional stories on that page.

But I never started.

Why?

Because I wanted everything to be perfect.

The voiceover. The editing. The writing.

And, while trying to chase that perfection, I ended up posting nothing at all.

Eventually, that idea faded away, and now here I’m thinking I should’ve started posting and improved my craft along the way.

You see, perfection can be a sneaky dream-killer.

So, my fellow brother and sister, if there’s one thing I want to say today to you and to myself, it’s this:

Don’t wait for perfection.
Start where you are.
Get things done.
Improve as you go.

Whether it is writing a book, starting a business, creating content or learning a new skill, just start. Be consistent, and see the progress and perfection follow at their own pace.
