Choose Your Energy This Week

How to feel good every day, no matter what comes your way.

Hey, my friend,

Before your week starts to rush by, take a moment just for yourself.

Now ask yourself this simple but important question: How do I want to feel during the next few days?

This is not about the tasks you’ve to tick off your to-do list. It’s about the feeling you want to carry with you through the week.

Maybe last week felt overwhelming; perhaps you had too many things pulling at your attention, or you didn’t get enough rest. It’s okay to admit that you felt tired or stretched too thin.

Now, think about what your heart really needs after that tough week?

Do you want to feel calm, like a quiet afternoon where you don’t have to rush? Do you want to feel energized and ready to take on new challenges?

Or maybe you want to feel connected, like you belong and are cared for, especially if you felt alone before. Choose one feeling that feels right for you.

One feeling that feels like a safe place you want to return to, no matter what happens this week.

Now think about what small things might help you hold onto that feeling. It doesn’t have to be a big change.

If calm is what you want, maybe you decide to put your phone down during meals or take a few minutes to breathe deeply when the day feels busy.

If joy is what you need, maybe you can listen to your favorite song while cooking or spend time with someone who makes you laugh.

If feeling proud is important, maybe you finally check off a small task you’ve been avoiding or give yourself credit for showing up even when things are hard.

This week doesn’t have to be perfect, my friend.

Life will still have its ups and downs, but when you focus on how you want to feel, even the small moments can start to feel different.

So, before you rush into everything you need to do, remember this: You have the power to choose your feelings, and you deserve to feel good and cared for.

Let your chosen feeling guide you through the week, and whenever things get tough, come back to it and let it remind you why you are doing what you do.

You are doing your best, and that is more than enough, my friend.
